Mr. Arjun Singh Oberoi is the Executive Chairman of EIH Limited. Mr. Arjun Singh Oberoi has been an Executive Director of the Company for over two decades and has over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry. Mr. Arjun Singh Oberoi has a strong foundation in hotel operations dating back to the early part of his career. Mr. Arjun Singh Oberoi worked closely with Mr. PRS Oberoi to plan and develop many Oberoi and Trident Hotels.
In his previous role, he was responsible for the Project Development team of The Oberoi Group. He took on this role when he joined the Corporate Office of EIH Limited in 1996. He has been a member of The Oberoi Group and McKinsey & Company team responsible for re-engineering systems and processes within the food and beverage departments of “The Oberoi” city hotels.
Mr. Vikramjit Singh Oberoi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EIH Limited. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from Pepperdine University, California, USA and has over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry. He joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 15th December, 1993. He became a Whole-time-Time Director and was designated Deputy Managing Director in July 2004. In July 2007, he was re-designated as Joint Managing Director of the Company. On November 29th, 2010, he was re-designated Chief Operating Officer and Joint Managing Director of EIH Limited. He took up the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on April 1st, 2015.
Mrs. Nita Mukesh Ambani is a Non-Executive Director of EIH Limited. A commerce graduate from Bombay University and a diploma holder in Early Childhood Education and Interior Design, she has inspired and led the implementation of many path-breaking initiatives spanning education, environmental protection and sports. Mrs. Ambani is Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, Dhirubhai Ambani International School and IMG Reliance. She is also the President of H. N Hospital & Research Centre and has directed the establishment of Dhirubhai Ambani Multi-Speciality Hospital in Mumbai. As a chairperson of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, she provides leadership to 12 schools with about 15,000 students. Mrs. Ambani received the Scroll of Honour Award from FICCI Ladies Organisation for her contribution to education, environmental protection and healthcare, in 2008. In 2011, Business Today Magazine named her the Most Powerful Woman in Indian Business. Under her leadership, the Reliance Foundation is building a world-class multi-disciplinary university. A Bharatanatyam exponent, Mrs. Ambani's other areas of interest and work include architecture, interior design and corporate identity programmes.
Mr. Manoj Harjivandas Modi is a Non-Executive Director of EIH Limited. A chemical engineer from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, Mr. Modi has been a professional consultant for over 30 years. He is a Director on the Board of Reliance Retail Limited and Infotel Broadband Services Limited.
Dr. Chhavi Rajawat is an Independent Director on the Board of EIH Limited. She is the Sarpanch/elected head of the Village Council of Soda, in the District of Tonk, Rajasthan, India. She was first elected Sarpanch in February 2010 and re-elected for a second term in February 2015. Dr. Rajawat is an alumna of Rishi Valley School (Andhra Pradesh) and Mayo College Girls' School (Ajmer). She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, New Delhi and followed it up with an MBA from Balaji Institute of Modern Management, Pune. She worked in the corporate sector for about seven years, during which time she worked in the media (Times of India), hospitality (Carlson Group of Hotels) and the telecom (Airtel) industries. Dr. Rajawat is an Aspen fellow and has received many awards, including the Young Indian Leader Award from CNN/IBN in 2010. She was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012 for her work in her village, Soda. In 2014, she was also honoured with the Assocham Ladies League's Grassroots Women of the Decade Achievers Award, Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Shakti National Award and the All India Woman Achiever's Award. In 2013, she received the India TV Yuva Award. She has also been honoured by former President Shri. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Mr. Sanjay Gopal Bhatnagar is a Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board of EIH Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi, a Master’s degree in Engineering from Stanford University, USA, an MBA (Hons) from Harvard University, USA, and Data Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.
Presently, Mr. Bhatnagar is the President, CEO and Board Member of Water Health International (WHI). As the founder of THOT Capital, he invests in energy and infrastructure assets globally. Until 2000, Mr. Bhatnagar served as the Chairman and CEO of Enron South Asia, where his responsibilities included developing and project financing of large-scale infrastructure, power plants, pipelines, LNG ships and re-gasification terminals. As the CEO of Enron Broadband Services for Asia and the Middle East, Mr. Bhatnagar developed Internet Data Centers and optical fiber networks in India and South East Asia.
Mr. Bhatnagar is a member of several acclaimed organisations and institutions, such as the US Department of Commerce (Washington DC), US India Innovation Forum (Washington DC) and Metropolis Health Care Ltd, among others.
Mr. Raj Kumar Kataria is the Founding Partner of Arpwood Capital. Mr. Kataria was a former Managing Director & Head of Financial Institutional Group (FIG) at DSP Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Kataria was a practicing lawyer and has an educational background in commerce and law. He has over 22 years of experience in multiple M&A transactions across FIG as well as consumer products sectors and Investment Banking. He has successfully executed large equity financing transactions for various Indian and MNC organizations.
Ms. Renu Sud Karnad (DIN 00008064) was Managing Director of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited till 30th June 2023. From 1st July 2023, she is a non-executive and non-working Director on the Board of HDFC Bank Ltd.
Mrs. Karnad is the Chairperson of GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Mumbai. She is a Parvin Fellow – Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, USA. Ms. Karnad has had to her credit, numerous awards, and accolades. Prominent among them being featured in list of ‘25 top non‑banking women in finance’ by U.S. Banker magazine, listed by Wall Street Journal Asia as among the ‘Top Ten Powerful Women to Watch Out for in Asia’. “Outstanding, Woman Business Leader” by CNBC‑TV18, 25 Most Influential Women Professionals in India by India Today. Ms. Karnad is currently the President of the International Union for Housing Finance (IUHF), an association of global housing finance firms.
Mr. Riley served as Chief Executive Officer of Mandarin Oriental Group, a luxury hotel chain, from April 2016 until July 2023. He established the Groups current growth strategy and lead it through the difficult years of the pandemic. Prior to this, he was a Director of Jardine Matheson between 2001 and 2016, including 11 years as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer. Jardine Matheson is one of East Asia’s leading conglomerates and includes within its portfolio interests in more than 20 listed companies. Between 2011 and 2016, he served as a non-executive director of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Prior to joining Jardine Matheson in 1993, Mr. Riley worked for 8 years in investment banking with Kleinwort Benson. At the outset of his career, he worked for Price Waterhouse and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in England in 1986. He holds a degree in Geography from Durham University.
